Construction illustrations
See how it is built. Each construction method is drawn as a 3D cut-away block of layered ground with the works inside it — casings, support fluid, reinforcement cages, tremie pipes, rising concrete, rigs and tools, nails, anchors, wells and drains — labelled and stepped stage by stage. Set your sizes and ground layers, then export the figures or send the sequence to the project report.
Scope & limitations
Illustrations are explanatory and not to scale; vertical dimensions are exaggerated so the works read clearly. Use the design studios and drawings for setting out and construction.
What the construction illustrations studio does
Choose one of fourteen construction methods — bored piles under bentonite or polymer, CFA and driven piles, diaphragm wall panels, secant pile walls, sheet pile cofferdams, soil nail walls, ground anchors, dewatering wells, stone columns, vertical drains with surcharge, pipe trenches with a shield, pad footings and road pavements — and step through its construction stages.
Each stage is drawn as a 3D cut-away block of layered ground, textured by soil type, with the works inside it: casings, support fluid, reinforcement cages, tremie pipes and hoppers, rising concrete, augers, grabs, hammers, nails, tendons, screens and drains, each named with a leader line.
Set the sizes, choose a ground profile or enter your own layers and groundwater level, and switch between a dark presentation style, a light print style and a blueprint style.
Download any stage as SVG or PNG, every stage as a ZIP of PNGs, or send one stage or the whole sequence to the Report studio. The same illustrations appear under the pile, diaphragm wall, retaining wall, soil nail, dewatering, ground improvement, foundation, pipe and pavement studios, drawn from their designs.
